My Nightmare Experience: A Defective Product and a Worthless Warranty 😠
I'm writing this to warn potential customers about my terrible online shopping experience. Everything seemed great at first, but it turned sour once a defect surfaced. As I stated in my review: "I paid for premium lenses including the $48 extra for the Super Hydrophobic coating. These lenses are nearly impossible to clean. I have 9 pairs of Zenni glasses and not a single one of them have this issues." This is clearly a manufacturing defect, yet their so-called "365 day warranty" turned into an offer for a 50% store credit, which is insulting. The inability to speak to a live person on the phone forced me into a frustrating chat to try and resolve this.
Customer: Hello, I'm contacting you about order #105180754. The Super Hydrophobic coating I paid an extra $48 for is defective. The lenses are constantly smudged and impossible to clean.

Customer: A 50% credit? I've been wearing glasses for 60 years; this isn't a user issue, it's a defective product. I paid for a premium feature that doesn't work. I don't want a credit, I want a replacement pair made correctly.
