A 2.5-Hour Ordeal for Two Pairs of Glasses: My Infuriating Experience with GlassesUSA 😡
I'm writing this as a warning for anyone considering ordering from GlassesUSA. My terrible online shopping experience was so infuriating I felt I had to share it. The web site was so messed up it took me 2-1/2 hours to purchase two pairs of glasses. I was not able to type in my prescription and save it to continue my purchase, so I will have to be sent an email so I can type in the information that I already typed in on your silly web site. I am not sure I will ever attempt to order glasses from glasses USA ever again. The entire process was so very frustrating and certainly a waste of my time. This sheer incompetence compelled me to contact customer service, hoping to speak to an actual person about this mess.
Customer: I just spent over two hours fighting with your website to place an order. It kept failing to save my prescription, and now it wants me to re-enter it via email? This is absurd.
CS Rep: I am incredibly sorry to hear about the trouble and frustration our website has caused you. That is definitely not the seamless experience we want for our customers. Can I get your name or order number to pull up your details?
Customer: The order number is XXXXX. It’s not just trouble, it’s a complete waste of my time. I shouldn't have to do the same work twice because your site is broken. I almost just gave up.
