⚠️ Buyer Beware: My Nightmare with Defective Lenses & A Phony Warranty
I'm writing this as a warning about my deeply frustrating online shopping experience. I truly hope my story can help others avoid a similar situation. Initially, I was thrilled with my purchase. However, everything about working with GlassesUSA was great until the glasses defect surfaced. I paid for premium lenses including the $48 extra for the Super Hydrophobic coating, but these lenses are nearly impossible to clean. What's worse is their supposed warranty. Even though they have what they call a 365 day warranty, they only offered me a 50% store credit if I choose to return the product. This felt completely unacceptable for a clear product defect, which is why I had to contact their customer service chat to fight for a resolution that was fair.
Customer: My order is #105180754. I paid extra for the Super Hydrophobic coating and the lenses are constantly smudged and impossible to clean. This is a defect, but your team only offered me a 50% store credit. That is not a warranty, that's an insult.

Customer: I've been wearing glasses for 60 years; I know how to clean them. I have nine pairs from Zenni with no issues. I paid extra to avoid this exact problem. I want a replacement pair with the coating applied correctly, not store credit.
