I'm here to share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale. My latest order from GlassesUSA was nothing short of a nightmare, proving this place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid extra for "next day delivery," only to find out hours later it would take "3 business days." When I tried to get my $19.95 refunded, reaching a human was impossible, and emails went unanswered. This frustration compelled me to confront their customer service directly.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery on my order, and the email I received states it will take three business days. This is unacceptable. I want a refund for the $19.95 delivery fee immediately. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delivery timeline. Let me check your order details for you. Our next-day delivery service applies to certain items, and production time can vary. Customer: This order was for Plano lenses; there was nothing to produce! Your website explicitly said "eligible for next day delivery." Why am I being charged for a service that was clearly not provided? CS Rep: I see. You're right, for Plano lenses, there shouldn't be a production delay impacting delivery. I sincerely apologize for this discrepancy and the miscommunication. I can submit a request to our billing department right away regarding the delivery fee refund. Customer: "Submit a request"? I need that fee refunded now. This entire experience, from the false promise of next-day delivery to the impossible-to-reach customer service, has been absolutely horrible.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and wasting their money.
